Wellbeing
At Chullora Public School, student wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. We want every student to feel safe, supported and ready to learn. Supporting students’ mental, emotional, social and physical wellbeing is part of everyday school life.
How we support student wellbeing
Supporting each student’s mental, emotional, social and physical wellbeing is part of everyday school life.
We do this through:
- caring teachers who build positive, inclusive relationships
- access to school counsellors, psychologists and specialist support staff
- wellbeing and positive behaviour programs that promote engagement and respect
- support for students transitioning into school or between year levels
- clear behaviour expectations and respectful relationships
- close partnerships with families and open communication
- individual health care and support plans where needed
